Propane Group Buy In

Hi, Neighbors! Are you interested in saving money on propane?
The Westside Trails Propane Buying Group (WSTPBG) was created in 2024 with
the goal of obtaining an annual competitive fixed-price term contract for folks
living in the Westside Trails Subdivision. This program is independent and
unaffiliated with the HOA.
Last year, AmeriGas won the bid for our Buying Group and our members paid $1.698/gallon from June 1,
2025 – May 31, 2026. The usual “Hazmat and Fuel Recovery Fees” and Safety Checks were also waived
for our members, adding to our savings.
This year, I am expanding the program and have reached out to neighboring subdivisions and have
already added more members to our group. There is power in numbers – the more
gallons/households will equate to greater savings for us as a group.
How This Works:
• In April I reach out to propane providers and ask for bids.
• Once I have received the bids (mid/late-May) I will then notify the potential participating
members/homeowners by email which supplier will have the propane contract for the upcoming year
along with the quoted prices and terms and conditions.
• At that time, homeowners can decide if they’d like to be part of the buying group for that year.
The program consists of homeowners who sign up (pledge) to participate in the buying group. The
participants provide to me (Kristin Wild) all pertinent contact information, size of their tank(s), and a
written statement that they agree to the Contract Terms and Conditions of Participation of the WSTPBG.
Participating members will be responsible for setting up payment arrangements and delivery details with
the chosen propane company.
I have no personal or business interest in this proposal, and I do not receive any compensation or
discount on propane for our homeowner needs. I am merely a neighbor committed to obtaining propane
at the best possible, competitive, and fixed annual price.
